Climate: The climate in Tel Aviv is Mediterranean. The hot, sunny summers which, although can be humid, are tempered the breeze. Heat waves can occur from April to June when the wind from the Egyptian desert can raise the temperature to around 40°C. Rainfall is concentrated to the winter months and it is most abundant from December to February. The sun in Tel Aviv shines nearly all year and the long dry season has clear skies.
